Breaking new ground in fashion retail

Mhor was born from the desire of owner Jane and manager Emily to provide a completely new shopping experience in Hanmer Springs. Their vision was to create a welcoming, calm, spacious and beautiful shop offering a variety of contemporary, wearable, affordable and desirable fashion to the 30+ female.

Customers are paramount at Mhor. This is a shop where the focus is firmly set on helping women to look great and feel confident, no matter what their shape or size. Quality customer service is number one at Mhor, where the staff is both knowledgeable and approachable.

The Mhor team

Jane, owner – has a fashion retail background, having previously owned shops in Australia.

Emily, manager – has extensive experience in retail management and hospitality, both in New Zealand and overseas.

Jane and Emily personally do the buying to provide a variety of fresh and workable fashion over a sensible price range.

Fran – has a background in retail management and customer service and has a unique and amazing ability to match the right garment to the right person.

Megan – is currently finishing school and works part-time at Mhor. She is a very valued member of the hardworking and closely knit and supportive Mhor team.
