Makeover

 This month’s makeover shows how hair, makeup and fashion can combine to gorgeous effect. Hair and makeup are by Flawless Hair & Beauty. Our makeover model, Danielle, is stunning in her new look.

 A great new look always relies on a great team. At Flawless Hair & Beauty, Danielle was in expert hands.

Danielle discussed her ideas with the team, including her plans to grow her hair longer. With that in mind, stylist Kirsty took care to texturise her hair so that Danielle could grow it without any difficulties. She also shaped her hair so as to emphasize Danielle’s exciting new colour. Using Redken products, Kirsty applied a full head of blonde foils in slices, adding a flash of Rubilane Blazing Copper. Patented Rubilane is a true copper dye, with long lasting vibrancy.

To complete her new style, Kirsty toned Danielle’s hair with Platinum Ice which neutralizes any unwanted yellow tones. Kirsty used Redken Wax Blast for styling: this innovative aerosol provides the finish of a wax with the convenience and lightness of a spray. The added body and dimension that comes with this product nicely complemented the colour and texture of Danielle’s hair. Wax Blast creates a choppy satin, matt finish.

For Danielle’s makeup, Jessica used Flawless Hair & Beauty’s YoungBlood mineral makeup. She started by applying primer to hydrate the skin and keep the foundation fresh for hours. This was then followed by loose mineral foundation to create a flawless finish. YoungBlood’s brand new “Starlet” eye shadow quad was used for a dramatic ‘rock chic’ look. To complete the eyes, lashings of “Blackout” lengthening mascara were used. Finishing the look, Jessica applied a copper shimmer gloss in “Embellished”.
